Healthy berry smoothie

Hellooooo, I love making juices and smoothies, they're delicious and give me loads of energy, but they're also super healthy! People keep asking me about them so I thought I'd blog about the next one I made. Which happened to be one of my favourites..

My Berry Smoothie!

This berry combo provides nutrients needed for healthy hair, skin, and nails.

The berries offer a healthy dose of B and C vitamins. The Greek
yogurt contains necessary calcium and probiotic bacteria to support a well functioning digestive system.

Ingredients:

8 strawberries
A handful of blueberries
6 ice cubes
A generous dose of Greek Yogurt
A lash of milk

So here's what to do!

1. Wash all the fruit and cut off the yucky bits! Throw the ingredients into a blender or food processor.

2. Mix them all together and roughly judge whether you need anymore yoghurt/milk to make the texture thick :)

3. Pour into a glass & enjoy! Good luck!

BSA: British Soap Awards 2013

Where do I begin!

Soap awards were amazing, such a surreal experience & highlighted again to me how lucky I am..

I genuinely feel so honoured to have been invited to such a prestigious event alongside extraordinary talent and dedication. The preparation progress was looooong, and my day went a little like this!

1. Spent my morning getting my hair fixed by my favourite hairdresser in the world; Edd Mayjor. (@EddMajor) Always the funniest 3 hours of my day in his company!

2. Raced into town to pick up my LIPSY dress, and to make sure it fitted. Check! (@LipsyLondon)

3. Jumped on the train from Cheltenham to Manchester, which is where the awards were held, and headed straight for the Hilton where I was thrown into hair and make up! No hanging about. Thanks again to LISA BOOTH and the GHD team, you can follow them on twitter; @GHDLisa & @GHD

Lisa & I

4. Hurried to the awards, this process was harder and took longer than you'd probably expect! As we kept getting stopped on the way by various fans & photographers. It all added to the atmosphere though!

5. Red Carpet & interviews out of the way, and a couple of champagnes later it was time to be seated for the awards! Exciting!

6. HIGH 5 FOR 5 AWARDS!
We won 5 awards, second to Corrie. But everyone was delighted with our winnings, which were:

Spectacular scene,
Best Actress,
Best onscreen partnership,
Best newcomer,
Sexiest Male,

Congratulations Hollyoaks!

Words will never describe this moment!
(Cast and director, Paul Rioden)

7. Time to party! The after party was so worth it! We had these lavish palm trees lit up and lights hanging from the ceiling, trays of canopies and unlimited drinks! There was an undeniable buzz circulating the room! I had the best time ever and meet some really cool people!

Me and mummy x

8. Thankyou, BSA for a night I'll never forget, for the goodie bags and for your time.
Thank you Lipsy for providing my gorgeous dress, got compliments all night :)
Thank you GHD & LISA BOOTH for making my hair look amazing and for the ghd straighteners.
Combined you all gave me the best night ever.

Press: Daily Mail
Thank you Lipsy for the beautiful dress.

Exploring London

Last Month, me and my friend thought we'd wanderlust a little and take an adventure around our hometown - London for the weekend.

Yes most people have seen the iconic things making LDN what it is, but what the harm in making the most out of free fun eh?

Harrods, we started off here and managed to work our way down to the alcohol section, I've never quite seen a bottle so ginormous!

The Natural History Museum, okay, so we didn't do our homework and read up every animal, but we did have fun pretending to be them, and everyone else seemed to find it funny when we added the noises as well, strangely therapeutic until I got recognised doing my T-Rex impression. Peak times.

Afternoon Big Ben! Woweeeee the tower is so much bigger and louder in real life than how you see it on the television. We stayed until the hour to hear it chime and I swear I felt the ground shake!

Angle 2..

Risky: CLOSE UP, London Eye. With these two crazy cats just because we went to get All-you-can-eat chinese on the bank for £7 - super romantic.

Barmy Army; so we bumped into the Military by parliament and they let us come into the back to see the horses how they work! They had to clean all the horse horse equipment for hours to make sure it was spotless and then they had it all inspected. Such a nice bunch of men.

Sunny Days: Trafalgar Square had a basketball festival in it so we got I've creams and watched the matches. Felt like I was in the USA (never been).

Chocolated out! M&M world in Leicester square is open till about midnight so we ended up there, mesmerised by the different colours and types of m&m's you can get. There's literally hundreds. I'm now obsessed! Felt like I'd stepped into Charlie and the Chocolate factory, plus there are free samples everywhere so go go go! NB: came home about a stone heavier that night. Soooo worth it.

Cheltenham Races

Soooooo...

One of the perks to having parents that have moved out to Cheltenham is that I get to go to the races!
Which includes, dressing up, acting posh, drinking champagne, oh and of course watching the actual races - which I got really competitive over! 🐎

The horses have crazy names which are quite funny, like "Big buck" and "Bobs Worth" and one was called "FatCatInTheHat" which was funny when the crowd were cheering it on hehe!
There was also an article about how rude it's name was in The Sun.. http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/barclays-chief-rich-ricci-cheltenham-1755640

Anyway, even though we won loads of money, then lost every penny we still had a wonderful day, and far from delicious pork baps on the way out ha..

Can't wait for next year :)

Our view from the stadium :)

Nothing like a good old pork BAP! 🍢🍗

Nintendo 3DS Advert

FINALLY!

So I travelled to Bucharest at the end of last year, to film a TV commercial for Nintendo!
My time out there was truly unforgettable, I worked with an amazing director and top crew. The other models were really funny and looked after me as I was the youngest.

We hardly got any time to see the country as a whole but what I did get the chance to see was incredible. It's so different to my life in London, there were wild dogs just walking around roaming the streets, and they had wolf packs of them in run down buildings instead of kennels. They literally LIVED in these shells of houses, abandoned three story buildings I'm talking about!

Enough of me blabbing, can you tell I'm getting over excited?!

Here's the link for my Nintendo advert, I hope you like it. One of the best filming experiences I've ever had. Hope you enjoy!

Snap snap snap!

Guess what! I've been working really hard this year and bagged my first lot of magazine shoots, including 'Shout' and 'Sugar' I've been so excited for these to come out, here are some of the snaps from random magazines, from editorial fashion, to commercial beauty shots.

My double life..

I'm going to start blogging because I love writing and for anyone who is interested I'm going to open up a little about my life.

I hope my cringey moments make you laugh and any success makes you smile.

So welcome, to a part of my strange but wonderful life and thank you to all the people involved I making it all happen.

- not all photos I post may belong to myself -

However, these ones do, so let's start with these!

my name's Wallis Day, I'm 15 years old and sort of lead 2 lives..

Let me explain! Here's a couple of photos when I was young just so I have somewhere to start; I had cool hair, I have always been close to my younger brother Henry and I absolutely adore acting.

I'm in year 11 at an all girls school (I don't know how I do it either). Well in fact I don't do it.. I get bored at school because the work is easy and I'd rather be somewhere else, doing something else.

Because of that, I often get into trouble and find most of my lunchtimes in detention with sticky rubber gloves suffocating my hands.

Before you start feeling sorry for me and call me Cinderella perhaps I should explain that it's completely self inflicted and I'm super naughty.

Let me elaborate..

I like messing about and doing dangerous things without thinking..

I pull pranks on teachers like getting the whole class to pretend they're asleep..

I'm cheeky to the teachers..

I fall asleep dreaming about getting out of school..

I rarely wear the correct uniform and somehow get away with it..

I mess around with the class stationary..

I attach rape alarms to helium balloons and set them off during exams so no one can get them down and stop the alarms..

I pull the most attractive faces I can to distract the class from doing the set work..

I get the year to help with big pranks (we've got a super cool year)..

So the "something else I'd rather being doing" that I've spoken about, the thing that distracts me from doing any school work, the thing I fall asleep in lessons thinking about, is acting. I want to be an actress, I'd rather be in a drama school them an academic one but my parents have told me I need qualifications. So I just have to look forward to the school plays and the acting I get to do outside of school, I go part time to a stage school called Sylvia Young Theatre School, and an academy called PQA. THEY ARE MY LIFE!

Here's myself as Glinda from the musical wicked!

Wicked is my favourite musical, I haven't seen it at the Victoria Apollo yet but I will one day!

Here are a couple of shots in me in rehearsals for a different play!

And this is one of me at SYTS with lovely little Imogen..

I dream of one day being able to act full time, I'd love to end up on stage like Dame Judi Dench to follow after a career in films. I just love everything about acting, it's so interesting, having the outline of the character and being able to colour it in, being able to build the foundations, being someone else, having a different life, the exhilaration of being onstage, telling a story, taking someone out of their lives for a short amount of time and bringing them into a life of someone else. Anyway I've gotten carried away! Back to reality, I'm from London but have spent the last couple of years in Cheltenham.. I want to runaway back to London though, be near my family and friends and audition everyday and be on stage.

I love my friends dearly and I'm obsessed with sports! Here are a few unnecessary snaps because I'm sure you already get the picture, but just in case..

Let's start with a cute one from the first month we moved to Cheltenham..

Horse riding through the countryside with my best friends Alex (@Alexdeeeex) and Ellie..

We do loads of sports in school , swimming, hockey, running, tennis, netball - I love them all

On the weekends we go into town as a group which helps waste "homework" time..

I let my friends dye my hair all the time because it's funny..

Oh yeah and referring to the "2 lives" I claimed I lead at the beginning.. Well that's my second life.

This blog's about my first..

I have an acting agent and I'm with Europe's leading modelling agency. Welcome to my life and enjoy my blog. W x
